A subsidirary of one of the largest OEM CCFL lamp manufacturers, CCFL Surplus was formed to help liquidate the enourmous stocks of overun and surplus CCFL lamps.
When large LCD Manufacturers order CCFL lamps for new LCD production runs, CCFL lamp suppliers are contractually obligated to make available a small overrun perentage ranging anywhere from 2-4% percent of the actual production quantities. They remain available to the original contrator(LCD Manufacturer)for a period of 6 months for use when incidental breakage and warranty service might be necessary.
After the 6 month holding period concludes we are often left with quanties ranging from 1,000 to 20,000 lamps of a single diameter and length. CCFLSurplus operates solely as the liquidation arm to reduce these holdings after contract periods conclude.
At any given time, we may have 30-40 contracts in the 6 month conclusion period, providing potential availability of sevaral hundred thousand lamps. Our Live Inventory section will give you up to the minute stock in our Council Bluffs Iowa warehouse, available for immediate shipment. Our Upcoming Inventory will show stock that will likely become available very shortly or in some cases is stocked at the OEM factory.
